In the olden days, the sole purpose of a Ferrari was to let its master experience the divine feel of a finely built supercar. Sure, the F40s and the 308s from an era gone by, are far from what you would call practical, but there is no getting away from the fact that cars as such were the ultimate expression of getting behind the wheel just for the sake of enjoying driving.
Today, though, an alarming number of Ferraris are bought by millionaires whose idea of a perfect drive out is a short stroll around some of the busiest streets in the world where they can have their worth of camera flashes from bystanders.
In this day and age, then, it is rare to come across a guy crazy enough to drive a rare manual Ferrari like he stole it. Shot somewhere in Italy, the video below shows a 599 GTB fitted with a 6-Speed manual gearbox being driven like there’s no tomorrow. Turn up your speakers and revel in the glorious V12 noise coming from what will probably be a highly desirable future classic.
