Porsche announces a rim wall clock based on a 911 Turbo wheel

Porsche has expanded its Masterpieces Collection of Porsche Driver’s Selection range of lifestyle products with the addition of a rim wall clock. The wall clock gives a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘time is money’, as owning it will set you back by Rs 2.15 lakh. 

Conceived out of a Porsche 911 Turbo wheel by the Porsche Design Studio, the clock is made in Germany and will be available at all Porsche Centres across the country. It is fabricated out of a 20-inch rim with the hands made of aluminium. 

Both the hour hand and the minute hand are garnished in Porsche’s traditional Indian red paint. The Porsche crest occupies the centre of the rim and rotates the minute hand with the help of the integrated quartz watch mechanism. A steel wall bracket is offered along with the clock to help you mount it on the wall. 

As with the rest of the products from the Porsche Selection range, the eight kilogram wall clock is entirely made out of genuine Porsche components. Besides the wall clock, the Masterpieces Collection includes an office chair made from a Porsche 911 sports seat, a GT3 Cup shelf made from a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup rear spoiler and a bookend made from a Porsche 911 Carrera brake disc. The collection is perfect for those uber rich car enthusiasts who wish to brighten their workplace or their home with a touch of automotive opulence.
