It is with great sadness that I write this news. Paris Hilton has officially ruined the colour pink. The DJ sure loves to stick to stereotypes – Pinks are for girls and Blues are for boys. Or, how else would you explain this (horrible) pink wrap for a beauty of a Corvette.
Miss Hilton loves to keep up appearances in the papers with her outwardly, strange and sometimes downright stupid antics. Critics and admirers have said that Hilton is famous for being famous, exemplifying the celebutante: a celebrity not through talent or work, but through inherited wealth and lifestyle. Miss Moneybags here, is, to top it all, a Barbie fan and she loses no opportunity to declare her love for the plastic girl toy.
A sad reminder for automotive fans would be the pink Bentley Continental GT she drove around in and then auctioned for charity (probably that was her saving grace). Now, she does it again, the 33-year old DJ went full-on Barbie by having her Corvette done over at Metro Wrapz shop. To gain attention she even posed with it at the Art Basel Show. The things we have to bear in the name of art.
