We all have heard or seen the Google Glass in operation, either on Youtube or in person. It is a type of wearable technology with an optical head-mounted display that shows various information making life easier for the wearer. Now, Mini, a car manufacturing company has shown interest in developing such technology.
Mini has showcased their version of wearable technology that works like the Google Glass but is more relevant to car users. Other than showing real time navigation on the display, it allows you to see through blind spots. When it comes to parking in a tight spot, we either use our vision or trust the two cameras placed at the rear bumper. In case of this glass, it assists you by displaying the exact movement of the car on the two tiny little glasses. I won’t be surprised if the British manufacturer starts offering this piece of technology with their future cars.
The romance between the cars and technology has given a major boost to the industry. We just have to wait for few more years and driverless cars will be a reality.
