The Maruti Suzuki ‘Colours of Youth’ talent hunt concluded its Delhi edition at Amity University Noida. This zonal round of the fourth edition of the competition saw participants from Delhi and Chandigarh, showcase their talents across music, dance, theatrics, mimicry, photography and stand-up-comedy to compete for a place in the ‘Colours of Youth’ - North Zone finals.
Out of the 17 performances held, six were chosen to represent North Zone in the Grand National finale to be held in March 2015 in Delhi. The winners will get a chance to win a brand new Maruti Suzuki Swift and other exciting prizes.
Organised by Maruti Suzuki, Colours of Youth is the platform that tests participants on not just their talents but also on their intellectual capability as well. In its fourth season now, the talent hunt saw an overwhelming participation from 277 students across Delhi and Chandigarh.
Speaking on the occasion, Manohar Bhatt, vice president (marketing), Maruti Suzuki India said, “With every passing year, Maruti Suzuki Colours of Youth is becoming a rage amongst the student community. It’s a matter of pride for us to offer a national level platform where multi-talented students get a chance to present their unique skills and an opportunity to excel beyond academics.”
It’s heartening to see the company which already keeps the pulse of the masses in mind, is looking to engage with them on other levels as well. Honing such young talents is a laudable effort.
