Our heroes in Bollywood films are more like cats for when it comes to dying, they have nine lives. Falling from trees; rolling down a mountain side; falling off the edge of a cliff or even high-rises for that matter is a walk in the park for them. The hero ultimately gets up, dusts off his clothes and goes back to baddie bashing. A scene just like one of the above played out, for real, in downtown San Francisco.
A poor window washer fell from a high-rise and landed on a 2000 Toyota Camry and escaped death. While actors/stuntsmen have the luxury of plonking onto a mattress or a trampoline, this poor man had no such luck.
As we all know, the top of a Toyota Camry is not the best places to land leave alone cushioning a fall. But the lucky fellow here, fell from 11-storeys high right on to the top of the car’s roof and the front windshield which crumpled under the impact.
The owner of the car was inside it at the time of the fall but he escaped with minor injuries, video grabs of the area however, show him to be quite shaken with the incident.
The man, who has not been identified, was conscious when paramedics arrived and currently remains in critical, but stable condition.
The window washer is certainly a lucky man that most of the brunt was borne by the car, giving him another chance at life. We hope he makes it through.
