Jeremy Clarkson, for the first time since his public fallout with the BBC, has hinted at a comeback show which will feature him and both his TG mates Richard Hammond and James May. The show has been in limbo since, Clarkson, the most well-known among the three presenters, had fallout after allegedly assaulting a producer earlier this year over an unserved dinner.
We have no details apart from Clarkson’s singular statement but can afford to take a guess and believe that the presenters continue exactly where they left off on the previous show and entertain us with crazy antics.
The strongest rumour going around the interweb and media in general is that the trio will start a web series in association with the US-based online content provider NETFLIX. Nothing is certain at present and you can be sure we are waiting with bated breath as much as you are to know more.
The last known effort to revive the show was an online petition by activist Guido Fawkes (being hosted by change.org) which saw over a million people cast their signatures to reinstate Clarkson. Despite the overwhelming response, BBC decided not renew Clarkson’s contract and in effect put the show on a hiatus.
