MotoGP is not a motorsport which requires any dramatisation to make it more interesting. However when you have a MotoGP documentary made by British film director Mark Neale, you can safely expect it to be nothing short of magnificent, complete with excitement, drama and a whole lot of emotion.
Hitting the Apex, which will hit the theatres on September 2, is a story of the fight between six of the fastest motorcycle racers the sport has ever seen - Casey Stoner, Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, and Dani Pedrosa, Marc Marquez and the late Marco Simoncelli. The story is narrated by Brad Pitt and shows the sports’ biggest clashes on race tracks around the world, while focussing on the sacrifices, dangers and the glamour of the sport. Featuring the on-track footage from the races, pit lanes and exclusive interviews, the movie is expected to give you a completely new insight into the lives of the six protagonists and MotoGP.
Hitting the Apex is Mark Neale’s sixth documentary made around motorcycles, five of which have focussed on MotoGP. Catch the trailer of Hitting the Apex below.
