There are few things in this world, money can’t buy – happiness, Richard Hammond and James May. The last two standing kings of the Top Gear have reportedly been offered a whopping £4.2m to continue the show without their dear friend, Jeremy Clarkson.
It will be difficult for you to get through this news but both of them are going to turn down this offer because for them friendship is more important than a hefty bank balance. As per a source who had a conversation with The Mirror, Top Gear wants Hammond and May to stay back and continue the world’s most watched automotive TV program. But since the beginning, they have been saying they will work on Top Gear only if the trio are a part of it. If they aren’t, they are ready to stay home. However, we don’t think Hammond and May will continue with their nonsense self-created videos.
Rumours suggest that Jeremy Clarkson will be joining Netflix, where a new motoring show will be created. Hammond and May might join him as well, and if this rumour turns out to be true, then BBC will surely get into the dismal mode.
PS: Top Gear has just released a teaser video of the rest of the Series 22 episodes. Check it out.
