Most of us have equipped our cars with safety and security features so that car-nappers may not have it easy. But imagine waking up one morning and finding the car of your dreams gone from the garage. It’s your worst nightmare coming true!
Earlier this month St. Charles, Missouri woman Becky Schoenig felt a kick in the gut after thieves swiped her 2015 Ford Fusion. Dreading the worst, she still kept hoping of being reunited with her car and sure enough on April 1, her Ford Fusion was sitting in her garage. The police recovered the stolen Fusion, which Schoenig describes had been “pimped out”.
When a car gets stolen here, it’s very rare that you find it in one piece. The famous chor bazaars of India only hold the secrets to the 10,000 pieces of your car. But this lady was lucky, the car-nappers knew how to handle stolen goods and her car was returned in one piece and all spruced up.
It had red rims, a red racing stripe down the sides of the car and spray-painted wheels. So in case your gets stolen, pray that your car-nappers have some sense of aesthetics and love for automobiles. Who knows you might just get a fully kitted car back.
