Gallardo’s paint job hides The First Avenger

Remember the HotWheels Color Shifter cars that changed colours when you dipped them in warm or icy water? Well, German graffiti artist Rene Turrek has gone the extra mile by creating such paint schemes for full-sized cars!

While the 500 horsepower Gallardo already looks pretty formidable in its purple paint scheme under normal conditions, spraying warm or icy water on the car makes it reveal a hidden tribute to Captain America with a traditional Stars and Stripes paint job. The paint job was created by using multiple layers of heat-sensitive thermochromic paint, which changes colour based on the temperature of the water splashed on the car. Turrek claims that this car will also change colour depending upon the atmospheric temperature. This seems like a great option for a person who can’t decide on a single paint scheme for his car.
