Ford India makes Children’s Day more special

Sunny smiles and busy hands crafting a new world is what draws us to this initiative by Ford. The company not just believes in creating world class products but also is willing to go the extra mile to mould the growing years of the future of our country. Starting from the grassroots, Ford’s Happy Schools initiative is what is putting smiles on many children’s faces this Children’s Day.

As a part of Ford’s vision of holistic education, the company along with its volunteers will visit 21 government schools in Chennai. This initiative was launched by Ford India during Global Week of Caring and it aims to create ideal and friendly learning environments for children’s by bridging existing gaps. This initiative focuses on helping children perform better in academics and also helps them acquire critical life-skills that will lead to their well-rounded development. This initiative has started from Chennai and will grow to cover government schools near Ford India's operation in Sanand (Gujarat) and Gurgaon (Haryana).
