Say the word Ferrari to a car enthusiast and one can immediately see them drooling. Yeah, it’s the same kind of effect a pair of new shoes has on a woman. In the automotive world, this Italian car brand is known for its agility, beauty and that awesome engine note. Speed is just another byproduct, in this case.
Off late, the Ferrari has been taking over headlines but for another ode to its beauty and speed but for being involved in accidents and suspicious fires, where more often than not the casualty has been the car itself. Seems like Ferrari is having a bad run of sorts.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but news is that a red Ferrari 430 caught fire, for reasons unknown, in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday evening during rush hour. The New Straits Times has reported that while the car was completely destroyed, the driver and his female companion escaped unscathed.
It is never a pleasant sight to watch a car burn to a crisp, be it a modest sedan or a supersport car. Here are some pictures of the incident:
