It is not easy to do a wheelie on a motorcycle, for that you need a lot of training which could be achieved only after spending hours on your motorcycle. For most taking a shot at the world’s fastest motorcycle wheelie title would be quite a task, but there are few souls on the planet, who dare to achieve the unachievable, and risk their life to see their names in the record books. For them, losing is never an option. Robert Gull is one such person
On March 16 this year, Robert Gull broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest motorcycle wheelie on ice with an overall speed of 183.8 km/h over 100 metres. He was riding a stock Honda CBR 1000RR. However, the bike was equipped with special build Dunlop tyres for the ice with power studs and race fairings. Robert attempted this record on Lake Kakel in Sweden. Robert took up this challenge on a whim. The person who previously held the record for the world’s fastest wheelie had issued an open challenge asking someone to better his record. Robert decided to take him up on that and the result is here for us to see.
