We all have fun watching jalopies crash into each other in a demolition derby, where the disintegration of trucks, sedans and estates can be a treat for the eyes. However, a road crash between a pickup truck and a supercar can never be easy to digest. We came across one such video on YouTube that has left us upset and feeling sympathetic for the owner of a Ferrari 458 Italia.
This video shows the aftermath of a collision between the Ferrari 458 and a Ford F150 truck, in Brandon, Florida. The 458 Italia in the video was owned by a CEO of a certain medicare firm and had less than 800 kilometres on the odometer. It seems like the owner of the 458 Italia was attempting to overtake another vehicle when he ran head on into the F150.
On the brighter side, the damage to the 458 Italia is mostly to the front, which can be repaired quite easily. The Ford 150 on the other hand, seems to be fine shape except for a few scratches. Check out the video over here:
