BBC has just announced its new lead presenter for Top Gear and no, it’s not Jeremy Clarkson. It is, in fact, British TV presenter and RJ Chris Evans. While we are just as long faced as you probably are reading this bit of news, it is good to know that BBC will resume production of the new season of Top Gear in the next few weeks.
The newly announced 49-year-old host is a familiar face among Top Gear fans. Having made an appearance as a star in the reasonably priced car category, Chris has also lent his priceless Ferrari 250 California to James May for filming.
Following a heap of controversies, this comes as bit of a breather for serious Top Gear fans although it is really saddening to imagine the show without the original trio. Do let us know your views on the possible new Top Gear line up in the comments below.
