Anything that might hit you at speeds more than 200kmph will surely kill you or do harm that will be devastating. This rider here is extremely lucky to come out unscathed when a loose camera hits him at a speed of 257kmph!
It was a usual motorcycle track day for Barry Reynolds at the Texas World Speedway until this dreadful incident occurred. The camera that was probably loosely fit on to another bike came off flying and smacked Barry who was following him doing speeds in excess of 250kmph. Though Barry is very lucky to come out unharmed, his ill-fated motorcycle has a cracked windscreen and a damaged instrument cluster.
Can you imagine what would have happened if the camera would have hit Barry on his head or anywhere on the body? Camera-obsessed people, please do make sure to fit your camera securely when trying to capture some action footage to avoid such untoward instances.
