I booked xv cvt micra olive green on 17/7/2013 executive's verbal promise of delivery was 4weeks but while writing he said I'm taking 8weeks as the car comes from chennai and might get damaged so taking that buffer its going to be 8weeks max.
24/7/13 I get call from bank that my loan cannot be processed as the dealer has informed them that car will not be delivered before end of sept13. I told bank that there must be some confusion as I have committment of 4weeks. I call then visit dealership sterling nissan to get a clear date of delivery. AGM Jasvinder Pal Singh tells me that he will not be able to give me any date in particular but max time will be of 8 weeks from booking date and exact date he will be able to communicate latest by 5thweek. Satisfied by his seemingly professional handling of things I left things as they were.
21/8/13 when I call up AGM of sterling Nissan he says he will not be able to give me the car as promissed as it is not available with the manufacturing company but he can give me car in silver colour next day itself. when I say I want car in my choice of colour since I've been waiting for it and he should find out from factory when it will be delivered. his words,"mein silver mein de sakta houn aapne leni hai toh lo baad mein bhi silver mein hi milegi" then I asked him for refund of my booking amount he asked me to submit my original booking receipt with his staff after one week of it I will be given my cheque.
All this was not something acceptable to me so I contacted their call center where my complaint was registered (HASTRLGUR20130XXXXXX) and was asked to wait for 72 hrs for a call back. I did not receive this callback.
26/8/13 I call again nothing except a promise of a call back by 5pm. Again I call at 7pm time I tell them that if I don't get that call back by 10pm then I will be going to consumer court in morning and some one did call and promised an early resolution of the case.
Today I did get a call from AGM of dealer saying cheque is ready but will be given only on submission of original receipt. when I refused to hand over the receipt as it is against Incometax rules they can take a credit note from me or recipt of their cheque but not the original booking receipt. Mr Jasvinser pal Singh says,"lena hai toh receipt deni hi padegi nahi to cheque nahi denge aur abhi toh hum de rahe hain baad mein cheque aur gaadi dono hi bhul jaana".
Now I Have NO other option left but to approach consumer court for redressal. AND I HOPE AFTER READING THIS AUTHORITIES IN NISSAN INDIA WILL GET A WAKEUP CALL AND NO OTHER CONSUMER HAS TO FACE MENTAL TORTURE THAT I FACED AT HANDS OF STERLING NISSAN.

Look and Style: The facelift has made Micra look neutral if not totally masculine. Looks great. New chrome grill makes it looks awesome.
Comfort: With driver seat height adjustable and great interiors with good head rest at the rear, Micra gives a sedan comfort. Comfortable leg room and head room. Decent Audio system with bluetooth for streaming and handsfree. Good seating position and visibility for the driver.
Pickup: Maverick.. It just zooms, thanks to its CVT. In sports mode it just takes off like a jet.
Mileage: In city for hop-in and hop-out drives it gives 14.6kmpl. For considerably long like 30 mins+ drives it gives 16.0 kmpl and for highway drive it has given 17.3kmpl.
Best Features: 1. Its superb performance, thanks to CVT. 2. Good steering sensitivity. 3. Good head & leg room. 4. Powerful A/C. 5. Smart key and push button.
Needs to improve: Should have reverse parking sensors if not reverse camera.
Overall Experience: Just awesome. Recommended for city riders specially in high density traffic areas.

Nice and appealing. Some nice colours, I have an Olive Green.

Optimal and nicely done. The dashboard is well toned and textured. The console looks attractive. The car feels open and airy.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
There is a lag in pick-up. But when you accept it, you can plan around it. Nice and stable on highways with speed of 100 km/h/
Ride Quality & Handling
The steering is nimble with great turning radius. It has large wheels so feels planted on the road. The ground clearance is good, contrary to what I had heard.
Final Words
A good looking car and can be fun for city commute. Automatics area blessing and CVT seems to be the way to go for the future. I promises better fuel economy as well.
Areas of improvement
I waited to get delivery of the car several weeks after the payment was made. The car that was allotted was not delivered and then I settled for a colour that was available. Since existing paperwork had the details of the car allotted first, I had wait more. I got the car on July 31st 2013. The door has a slight dent; the bumper is uneven on the sides. But I was happy to have wheels again as my trusted Santro Automatic had start skipping gears after 10 years of daily use.
I bought the car from Zedex Nissan in East Delhi.
Last night the car had a breakdown with the starter motor burning out. The car was towed away to the workshop and I am waiting a response on what would the nature repair. Imagine the heart burn if the car develops a major component failure in the first month of use!
Please think twice if it is going to be your main and only car!
I am reminded of what a Honda dealer mentioned when turned down an Amaze booking to go for Nissan Micra. You maybe one of the many customers for the dealer but the car will perhaps be one of the main buy for a couple of years at least.
I am repenting and planning no letting go easily my hard earned money.
Looks,Poor dealership, not reliable and uneven finish of the car.

Exterior Good retro looks with new face make over as well as front grill with crome cover back light with led illumination look good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good comfort inside for small family with latest gismo like Stearing mounted audio and phone control climate control AC piano finished show case etc sound quality of music system is good plus it has options for driver seat adujsment.
Engine performance Engine performance is nice for city ride as well silent and smooth in sport mode you feel little beat thrill.
Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy in city is 11.7 and 13 on high way which is disappointed me in my 2000 km ride otherwise gear box performance of cvt technology is much joyfull then coventional gear box which deliver smooth ride in city.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride is joyfull with haslefree gearshifing and hanling smooth.
Final Words Milage is disappointed me because company claims 19.34 km per litre but I m getting just 12 avg. in both city and highway.
Areas of improvement After sales and service is pathetic please do something for save Nissan.

Very unreliable and undependable because it has failed to start five times in one year old car leaving me stranded in the middle of the road.
Fuel economy made to us was 19 km per litre which was the only reason to prefer Nissan over orher more reputed brands of automatic cars but to our horror it is only 8 -9 kms per litre. So please so not believe the promises made by the company.
The service of Vibrant Nissan Gachibowli Hyderabad is worst ever imaginable because they did not respond or extend any help when I was stranded high and dry as the car suddenly fails to start. Very rude and irresponsible.

Please do something to rectify this recurring problem in my only one year old car. It has to be towed everytime to restart it. Also the Vibrant Nissan Gachibowli Hyderabad should learn to service rather than just sell. It is the service that matters more than the product.

Exterior Excellent in looks and sturdy. The facelift has really made it good looking. I too olive green which is fresh.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great features, especially the"Start Button" and automatic mirrors. Automatic cliamte control adjustable seat and bluetooth are good features.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy has not touched 14 as many claimed. Gear box is outstandingly smooth and engine delivers as expected. Pickup is good at low speeds.
Ride Quality & Handling Gets a little bumpy on bad roads.
Final Words Excellent for city although tough competition from new cars. Pricing could be more competitive and should offer more add-ons.
Areas of improvement Ground clearance needs improved and perhaps service cost could be decreased and more than just 2 free services need to be provided. The service centers have been good so far and it was good experience with the dealers contrary to what I have read so far here.
