I have been driving this car for 3 years now. Though the car has been good on space (espcially for front seat passenger and driver), the driving comfort is not as much. The interior looks made of cheap plastic. The glove compartment is made without thought and you have a good chance to injure your fingers/thumbs if you are not careful. This is due to thoughless placment of the lock.
The biggest con for this car is the servicing and the availability of spare parts. The dealer in Bangalore (Shahwar Nissan Servicing Center) has very bad managment of servicing. They have only one employee working in each department i.e. 1 mechanic, 1 servicing manager etc. which makes the servicing experiance excruciating dur to delays. They make you wait for 8 hours on a promise 2h. In my 6 visits to the service station, they have never been able to provide the spare parts that are need for replacements due to normal wear and tear e.g. wiper blades, floormat holder, break pads etc.
The car will start seeing issues in interiors after 2.5 to 3 years. The shocker will get easy, and things generally will start to break and crack (especially the plastic stuff).

I have very bad expericence with Nissan India.First one year performance is good.after one year we meet lot of Complaint's surely and money drain. If you intrested purchase nissan vehicle.first you open a workshope,get good and aware techinician,to maitain nissan vehicles. Otherwise your the member of money drain scheme. its parts durablity is one or two years. Below average quality parts.my car driven 16000km. only. I have faced a complaints for camehaft, AC complaint. its camshaft replacing price 50,000/- AC complaint rectifcation charge 10,000/-at extented warrenty time. My car have hevy sound like goods vehicles. nissans prime motto is maximum sales. I Suggest NEVER TAKE NISSAN VEHICALS IF THEY ARE NOT INTRESTED TO GIVE SERVICE AFTER SALES.
1) Report the matter to Nissan Corporate office bcoz most times dealers are interested in only selling & not after sales service.
2) If no satisfactory action then send a legal notice thru Consumer forum & take the company to task.
3) Make sure you buy your next car which runs on CNG.
If NISSAN want's to do business in India then they must have same ethical standards that Nissan would have worldwide.

Areas of improvement NISSAN TO SEE THE LESSON LEARN FROM THE OTHER COMPANIES LIKE HYUNDAI AND MARUTI. THEY ARE PROMPT IN PROVIDING THE SERVICES AFTER SALES. BUT DONOT EXPECT SERVICES FROM NISSAN AFTER SALES.
After repeated complaints since last two months to Nissan Motors (Ph. 18002093456), Nissan Micra, Car No. DL 1XXXXXXX, regarding faulty Exide Battery (My Ph No. 9968XXXXXX) no action has been taken by dealer Zedex Nissan. I have repeatedly talking to Nissan executives, Gurgaon office (Mr. Zahir, Jacob, Harish). They call me for Battery Check-up on 20.12.2014 and after checking whole day at their workshop they reported that Battery is faulty though my cars has run only 1800KMS in one year. After repeated request to Nissan I was informed by the dealer that I have to leave my car for another 2-3 days with the dealer. My concern is why dealer is not providing a standby Battery and take-up the issue with Exide along with my original battery. Please note that I am not able to start my car and hence not able to use the car. Please take immediate action and let me know. I have already registered the complaint more than 25 time through my no. 9968XXXXXX.

Final Words I was really overwhelmed by the service provided by Nissan Dealer Torrent Nissan in Mumbai and had grt experience and excellent customer service experience. Initialy was quite skeptical to buy a Nissan Car. As I heard horrid stories of customer service and dealership experience. In the end I can say that I am quite satistied with the overall experience. Also think this car is a good value for money.
Areas of improvement Nissan Accessories are quite expensive as compared to Maruti or Hyundai. Mileage can be of concern as specially for the petrol version. Also think Nissan will have to come up with more service centres as of now it's only one. Especially if they are compete with other car makers in Indian markets.

Exterior Loved it, there is always a feeling to get more no mater what you buy. I personally felt its got some great looks. My perspective. everyones got their's.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Start button, key less entry is just awesome, very useful indeed. seats comfortable, audio system more than adequate, it is quite peaceful inside.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear box could have been a short one, would have been more fun. But its still not bad.
After driving 20K kms trust me this car could be driven the way you want. I have succeeded to almost overtake all cars on the highway including the innova's, swifts, figo's, i20's, scorpi's and given even the Chevy Cruze a run for its money on the way to Coorg. Obviously Chevy beat me after some time, but I did manage to make the driver a bit anxious. This car could be driven smoothly like an angel as well. Love it. Obviously no matter how much power you got under the hood you would want more...for me this is as good as you can get for the money!!!
It has consistantly gievn me about 15 KMPL in the city and once got 21 KMPL on the highway(maintaining speed under 90) Else it gives a consistant 18 KMPL on the highway
Ride Quality & Handling I have not had any issues at all. Not even a puncture in the last 2 years - 20 k kms. Have done 150 + KPH many times , jumped road humps many times (without noticing), travelled to hillstations like Ooty, Kodai, Coorg and it has had no probs
Final Words A very happy customer indeed...I have to say this, people compain about minimal service centers, lack of quality and response..etc I have had no trouble with the Shawar Nissan Service station near palace grounds (bangalore). They have always done quality, timely service thats better than the Maruti (I also have an Alto). People also talk about having only 1 or 2 service centers, after 2 years and 20 K kms I can tell you this...why would you need a service station in every corner like Maruti when you have to take this Jem (Micra) for service once in 6 mths or 10 K Kms. As I have said before it has not even got puctured once let alone have any other issues.
Areas of improvement Back seat head rest, new versions of the car have it. So its no longer an area of improvement.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfort level, seats AC and overall is excellent; should be a comfortable ride for long rides.. keyless entry is an attractive, though, unessesary feature...audio system is good.. but no steering controls are provided for d system.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is silent and powerful; good pick up; only test drive was taken so cant say about economy; i found the gears to be the smoothest in its class! much better than others.
Ride Quality & Handling overall i found the ride quality and handling to be the best in the class; driving pleasure accompanied by the small turning radius is great to drive in cities.
Final Words Overall found it to be the best drive; barring a few problems of dealership and resale
Areas of improvement The less no of dealers n service stations and availability of spare parts is a big worry; this of course affects resale value drastically too.

No doubt Nissan Micra is at its Best in class. But one thing I would like to be mend by company is its choice of dealer n spare part issue.
First of all Dada motor at ludhiana is not at all good dealer in service. They are not providing cash counter spare part just because they want to earn service charges from customer, so ridiculous blackmailing the customer just because of their monoply. Customer has full right to purchase spare part from dealer n make it fit from anywhere.
GM service at Dada motors ,ludhiana Mr rajkumar is I think the most awkward manager I have ever seen. He even dont have guts to stand his commitment. He should attend some marketing lesson, bloody panparag masaal eater joker.
Secondly spare part should be readily available in market for wider choice for customer.
I really very disappoint with Nissan policy n hope not to associate myself with this brand in future, never.

always afraid to give the vehicle for service, all four service had from vibrant nissan hyderabad
pathetic service and most untrained service centre
always the service people will cheat u regarding service cost and parts warranty
be care full when u r buying the nissan
please read the service and warranty manuel before paying the service bill
road side assistance is good
even the call centre and response from niisan management is worst
for very good vehicle most drawback is service
i had two vehicles previously one maruthi and other is hyndui, i never had problem with the srvice
may be the nissanhas to change the policies to improve the service

Exterior Likes auto closure option for the side mirrors that folds the mirrors while the car is locked.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Intelligent key is really cool. Leg space is OK, driver seat does not have height adjustment.The glowbox is very very small, it has enough space to keep the user manual and nothing else. Rear seats are comfortable for 2, leg space is good but shoulder space is not good enough for 3.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Ok Engine performance is excellent,gear box is also OK. power delivery is very good and seamless. Gives me 22.6 kmpl which i think is OK for the driving conditions (20% city and 80% through highways).

Final Words Nissan should have considered wider tyres for the diesel model since it comes with a heavier engine and tragically no ABS.

Exterior Excellent, I like it, its kind of very near to Mini cooper + beetel. The colour quality is good. Just love the keyless entry feature.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice, The music system is great. Three people of 70 KG each can settle in back easily. Could fit 2 big and 2 small bags in the boot. You don't get tired driving it.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great!!, its clocking 18.6 consistently, and it suppose to increase after 10000 KM. Drove it to 140 km/h and did not realise, then my wife told me that i was clocking 140 so did not push further :(, so excellent grip in high speeds. excellent on highway. handling is good.
Ride Quality & Handling Fantastic, I drive to manesar everyday via pataudi road, its like a cake walk. Drove to my home town, 4 hours drive, not tired at all.
Final Words Value for money, do nto hesitate to buy just because of post sales servicing worries, they provide excellent service. Also I got a great deal on the car.
Areas of improvement Rear defogger in the XV diesel model. Missed it a couple of times this winter.
