Nissan Magnite has clocked 1 lakh unit sales milestone in India.

Nissan India has introduced the all-black Kuro Edition in the Magnite lineup, which is available in four variants. The Magnite offers a choice of two engines: a 1.0-litre NA petrol generating 71bhp and 96Nm, available with a five-speed manual or AMT gearbox, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 99bhp and 152Nm, which is offered with a manual or CVT transmission.

Nissan India has revealed the prices for the highly anticipated Magnite AMT. It starts at an introductory price of Rs. 6,49,900 (ex-showroom), which is applicable till November 10, 2023. The AMT variant comes in four trim options and is powered by a 1.0-litre NA petrol engine with an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 19.70kmpl.

The average of this turbo engine between 19-21 is well appreciated if you drive below 100 kmph during highway and in city traffic it reduces to 14-15 kmph. The average Maintenance cost is 5-6k per year. The only cons I dealt with till now are paint quality and windshield wipersRating parameters(out of 5)5

Would have liked the following in the base model. Most rivals provide this even in base models No Courtesy lamps ON on door opening, no manual central locking, no indicator for boot locked/unlocked. Headlamp bulbs need to be brighter. Not providing these features is not just irritatingly inconvenient but also a safety/theft hazard. Mileage not as claimed. Positives are great styling, huge space, and ground clearance. Many features provided are not available in base models of rivals like traction control tpms etc. I have not yet experienced the hill control assist feature and have not been explained how to use it.Rating parameters(out of 5)4

The buying experience was ok. features this is the value for money car. The highway experience is great, 100-120 kmph doesn’t feel also I get 18-20 kmpl on the highway. City Experience sometimes gets clumsy due to a 1-litre turbo as it lags in initial rpm. I get 10-12 kmpl in city traffic. Service experience is also good but could have been better. Overall it's a must-buy carRating parameters(out of 5)5
