Purchased XLD model at 12.50 lakhs on Navratri. Drove 500 kms given an average of 19.0 with speed of 80 as the new car I drive at this speed. Looks is awesome like anything everyone is watching once. Comfort is really nice and good boot space and drives quality is best than Creta. Wonderful car.

Since the launch, all I wanted was a kick and the turbo was the icing on the cake. Stands out with its design and ohhhhh the driving experience.., drove it at 145km/hr and it was butter smooth. Mileage is a little bit on the lower side but it is expected from a car of such size. Have driven it for about 2k km till now and the only issue I have found is the horn going wayward sometimes

Power and drive dynamics are addictive. Footwell is a bit cramped but not a deal breaker. Service and buying experience was good. Not Hyundai or MG good, but decent. Economy depends on driving style. Turbo engines are sensitive to throttle inputs. Hence, aggressively driven, you will get single digit numbers. But overall a superb package.

I have been using Nissan Kicks 1.5 XV for almost 6 months , ride & handling of car is very smooth , steering bit heavy but it helps you in high speeds, suspension maneuvering in bad road patches

Absolutely perfect car.I initially wanted the Nissan Magnite Manual top model. But opted to give a little more and went for the Nissan Kicks XV1.5.I have driven it around 1 kms for about 1 month and the experience has been perfect. It has too many good features like Auto AC,Android Auto. All 4 power windows comes with illumination.Alloy wheels,Reverse camera with reverse sensors,Functional roof rails,Electrically adjustable ORVMs,17inch tyres.Segment leading 210mm ground clearance.Huge bootspace of 400lt.Good seating comfort.Rear AC with charging sockets,Soft touch points and arm rests.Solid built quality and strong door thud,Dampened grab handles.Great NVH levels.Great suspension and ride quality.Great handling. People used to say steering and clutch is hard, but it is not at all hard for any city and within a few days you will feel the enjoyment of driving it, it will give you confidence and the sense of driving a huge car A few cons which are minor. No front cup holder.Bluetooth connectivity with the touch screen system is a little buggy I have even taken it to service and even though there was no free inspection they assisted me with that and assured me how I can best make use of insurance claims and did a free inspection on request.I have heard their RSA,it is also very prompt.Overall good car.

Price could have been aggressive to compete its rivals e.g Creta. Nissan should learn from Tata how they priced nexon to compete its rivals. Looks little bit bulky compare to Hyundai Creta and the reason is kicks is longer in its segment. On the paper features are good. And the best thing is that kicks provide some good features in standard variant which are not be available in Creta's standard varient. Creta's petrol variant is more powerful than Kicks. Kicks Fuel efficiency is also less compared to Creta. Kicks diesel variant may compete little bit with Creta. It seems Nissan just upgraded Capture to next level and given a different name Kicks.

I will just give 4 cons of kicks petrol which Nissan needs to address fast ,if they want this btf car to get success in Indian market and not desire to die as a failed product. 1. powerlag which is quite present under 1800-2000 rpm 2. Unavailability of automatic transmission 3. Low milage 4. Atleast put one cupholder in the front??

Starting off with the looks, I'll say its striking, the signature nissan grill takes your attention as you look at it. Now a SUV is all about ruggedness, practicality, and tall, so is the Kicks. The car has a whopping ground clearance of 210mm!! which is more than the Scorpio or Harrier. Car is built on the tough platform from the Terrano , engine is the tried and tested 1.5L Diesel which has ample amount of power to propel this SUV. The car is engaging to drive , also the fuel economy of the vehicle is good . Space and ambience is also good on the inside . The new XL Diesel is the most value for money variant to go for, It comes with the touchscreen infotainment system with nissan's connect feature. So I will say that its a very well engineered product from Nissan ,and should be definitely on the checklists of the buyers of compact SUVs in India.
