It has been a relatively busy week with a few launches and updates from various others on products, features additions. Here are our top 6 highlights of the week for the period of 14 January to 18 January 18.
1.MG Hector to be launched in Q2 of 2019
It’s official! The MG Hector SUV will be launched in India in Q2 of 2019. This means that the automaker will bring its Halol factory online and start trial production of the SUV within the next two months. The car will be offered with both petrol and diesel power and will be retailed from 100 touch points across the country.
2.Hyundai Creta feature list updated
It has been less than a year since the launch of the new Hyundai Creta in mid-2018 and already the Korean carmaker is adding features to it. One of the star products in Hyundai’s portfolio, the Creta, will now get ventilated seats in the front row and become the third Hyundai to get them after the Elantra and the Verna.
3.Mahindra Marazzo M8 8-seat variant launched
Mahindra had announced on January 14 that its Marazzo MPV will now be available with a new variant. In fact, the top-of-the-line M8 variant can now be had as an eight-seater. Up until now, the M8 variant was offered in seven-seat configuration only and this priced it at Rs 8000 over the 7 seat variant.
4.New generation Maruti Wagon R now in pictures
Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the new big WagonR in India on January 23. The Indo-Japanese carmaker officially unveiled the vehicle via a new set of teaser videos and quite a few new elements have been added to this generation of the iconic tall boy. 5.Mahindra XUV300 to be launched on Feb 14
Mahindra and Mahindra will launch its new Ssangyong Tivoli-based XUV300 compact SUV for the Indian market on 14 February. The bookings are already open for the sub-compact SUV which will be offered in four variants and six colours across both petrol and diesel engine options. It will rival the likes of the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and the Honda WR-V.
6.Toyota Camry Hybrid launched in India
Toyota has launched the latest generation Camry Hybrid in India at Rs 36.95 lakhs (ex-showroom). This is the second generation for the Hybrid Camry in India and it is being brought into the country via the CKD route. This new Camry gets a new design, platform and updated hybrid power train with extended range.
