Honda is all set to spoil Toyota's party by pre-poning the launch of their comapct car - Brio. Toyota had already announced plans at the Etios launch that they will be launching it's hatch, the Liva, in April and with the response that Toyota received as regards the Etios, they were riding high on making the Liva a success.
But with Honda announcing the launch of the Brio in March, the company gets a headstart of a month and maybe more than that. If priced right, the Brio will make a significant dent with regards to the consumers Toyota was all set to woo.
The Brio with its fuel efficiency has already got people talking but one can say that if Toyota can come out with the Liva in a diesel powertrain, even if it might be priced high, it sure would turn a lot of heads. The competition would be something to watch out for. So whats your pick Honda or Toyota!
