New Renault Duster facelift India launch on 8 July
Renault has confirmed that the new Duster facelift will be launched in India on 8 July. Last month, the mid-size SUV was spotted completely undisguised during its high-altitude testing. Bookings for the Duster facelift are set to commence soon.
Tata adds dual tone colour options to the Harrier line-up
Tata Motors has attracted over 10,000 customers for the Harrier since its launch in January 2019. As part of the celebrations, the company has launched dual tone colour options on the Harrier with prices starting at Rs 16.76 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
Mahindra Bolero Power Plus now gets ABS
Mahindra has discreetly put up the Bolero Power Plus with ABS on their website. The SUV gets ABS as standard fitment but there is no official announcement on the pricing yet.
Mahindra XUV300 diesel AMT launched in India at Rs 11.50 lakhs
Mahindra has also launched the XUV300 with the two-pedal setup. The XUV300 AMT available at in the W8 and W8 (O) diesel-powered variants only and is priced Rs 11.50 lakhs and Rs 12.70 lakhs, respectively.
Union Budget 2019: GST on Electric Vehicles drops significantly
The Union Budget 2019 has brought some relief to car manufacturers in the country with the announcement on the reduction in GST on electric vehicles from 12 per cent to five per cent, and an additional income tax deduction of Rs 1.5 lakhs on the interest paid towards loans taken to purchase electric vehicles.
