This week, German luxury car manufacturer BMW launched two if its flagship products – the 7 Series and the X7 SUV. The much-awaited upcoming Nexa product, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 was also spied during testing and we spoke about its exterior, interior and expected features. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga concept at 2019 GIIAS
Suzuki Motor Corporation had showcased the all-new Ertiga concept at the 2019 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The model is based on the second generation Ertiga that is currently on sale in India. The vehicle features a new three slat grille, chrome highlights on the lower section of the bumper, contrast coloured roof, new side skirts and new alloy wheels. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with an integrated spoiler and a chrome strip between the LED tail-lights.
Maruti Suzuki XL6 fascia leaked
As seen in the image, the Ertiga based premium MPV, the XL6 gets a completely new fascia with a new bumper, rectangular fog lamp housings, faux brushed aluminium finished skid plate and wide air intake. Sitting above the bumper is a new grille with two chrome slats and chrome finished Suzuki logo. Also on offer are new headlamps with LED DRLs.
Tata H2X (Hornbill) India launch post debut of Altroz and Buzzard
The production version of the Tata H2X concept will be launched in India after the introduction of the Altroz and Buzzard. Internally codenamed as the Tata Hornbill, the production-spec H2X sub-compact SUV is expected to be launched towards the end of 2020. That said, we might get a glimpse of the SUV at the 2020 Auto Expo in February.
Maruti Suzuki XL6 captain seats
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga based XL6 crossover’s signature second-row captain seats have finally been revealed through a fresh set of spy images. As is visible in the picture, the whole cabin will be trimmed out in black with silver inserts.
BMW 7 Series launched in India
This facelifted BMW 7 Series was unveiled late last year and is a mid-life update for the German automaker’s flagship sedan. Highlights of this mid-life update comprise of new bumpers, laser headlamps and a massive kidney grille. Inside, there’s a host of new trim options along with BMW’s latest iDrive system.
BMW has officially launched the all-new X7 in India as its biggest and most luxurious SUV. Launched at Rs 98.90 lakhs (ex-showroom) the X7 is the three-row flagship from the Bavarian carmaker. It comes with a new design language, a host of luxury and off-road hardware along with petrol and diesel engine options.
Five new car launches in August
New car buyers will soon have more options to choose from across different body styles ranging from the likes of a hatchback to a premium sedan. These include the Kia Seltos, Hyundai new Grand i10, Renault Triber, Maruti Suzuki XL6 and the BMW new 3 Series.
