Detroit Motor Show is just round the corner and the organisers have spilled the beans on the list of models that might debut at the show. The website reads that VW might display two new concepts at the show, while being tight-lipped about the names.
The information also mentions one of the secret concepts could be sporting a fuel-saving powertrain that might find place in future models of the company especially in the US markets. The second is an off-road concept based on the mainstay model of the VW brand.
While the drivetrain could be featured on existing models, it's hard to guess what could be the base for the SUV. It is a possibility that the SUV concept could be based on the MQB platform which is the future chassis for most VW models, but we cannot comment on it now.
The Detroit Motor Show begins on January 13, 2014. Keep reading for more information on the two exciting VWs at the show here.
