Swedish premium car manufacturer Volvo has revealed the Polestar version of the XC60 and the V60. The cars get subtle design updates as compared to the standard model and will produce enhanced power output figures. Both the plug-in hybrid models are based on the standard T8 variants.
Under the hood, the cars are powered by the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, which also powers the S60 Polestar. The engine is tuned to produce 415bhp, which is an additional 15bhp and produces an additional 33Nm at 669Nm over the regular model. Performance being the key aspect, the XC60 and the V60 is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in less than five seconds.
As for the exterior, the Volvo XC60 and the V60 Polestar distinguishes itself from the regular model by offering new 10-spoke alloy wheels, sporty wheel arches, and a gloss black grille. As for the interior, the vehicle will get Charcoal shaded seats with enhanced bolstering and polestar gold finish seatbelts. The company has no immediate plans to launch the Polestar cars in India anytime soon, however, with a growing focus in the Indian market, the company might introduce these cars in India in the future.
