Volvo Auto India has launched the XC90 Excellence Lounge console in India, with prices starting at Rs 1.42 crores (ex-showroom, all India). The model, which is based on the standard XC90, features a three-seat layout.
Compared to the standard variant, the Volvo XC90 Excellence Lounge Console features a new unit in place of the front passenger seat that houses a rising leg rest, storage compartment and a large pop-out touchscreen system. A few other highlights of the model include an in-car refrigerator, champagne flute holders and crystal glasses.
At the heart of the Volvo XC90 Excellence Lounge Console is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged and supercharged petrol engine mated to an electric motor. The combined power output of these motors stands at 401bhp and 640Nm of torque. This engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Jus 15 units of the Volvo XC90 Excellence Lounge Console will be available in India.
