C70- Launched at the Frankfurt motor show in September 2005, the objective behind the design of this car was to create two cars in one - without compromising on either. Its proportions and design were chosen to give the car a powerful profile. The all new Volvo C70 has been developed in close cooperation with Pininfarina of Italy. The interior is inspired by Scandinavian product design with the emphasis on uncluttered surfaces, honest materials and good function. With 14 colour options, the C70 is available in 3 petrol (2.4/ 2.4i/ T5) and 2 diesel (2.0/ D5) engine variants across the world. The Volvo C70 T5 is the top model and it features a turbocharged engine mated to either a five-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual gearbox.
Some of the awards won by C70 globally are: Play Car of the year (2007) by cars.com and Most Secure in convertible category (2006) by British Insurance Car security awards.
