Swedish luxury car maker Volvo Car India today announced its entry into the southern region with opening of its dealership in Hyderabad in partnership with Talwar Cars Pvt. Ltd. located at Road No 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The dealership will be registered under the name Talwar Cars Pvt Ltd and will be functional in the last quarter of 2008.
Spread over an area of 300 square meters, the two showroom floors will have the same visual identity and design as other three Volvo dealers in India based on their programme - Volvo Next Face. Besides Hyderabad, Volvo has its presence in Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh. To tap the growing automobile market of the country, Volvo plans to expand its dealership network by 7-9 dealers in the next 12 months.
