Volkswagen India has launched the much-awaited GT Line and the GT Plus Sport version of the Virtus. These new versions are available at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 14.07 lakh and Rs. 17.84 lakh for the Virtus GT Line and the Virtus GT Plus Sport, respectively.
As for the features, the Virtus GT Line comes loaded with six airbags, ESC with ABS, EBD, TPMS, hill hold control, front and rear fog lamp, digital instrument panel, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, aluminium pedals, and black leatherette upholstery with grey stitching.
On the outside, the Virtus GT Line gets blackened LED headlamps with LED DRLs, front grille, bootlid spoiler, window line, and Virtus lettering. Then, there are blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels, GT Line badging, blacked-out ORVMs, and an electric sunroof.
On the other hand, the Virtus GT Plus Sport version has a red accent on the steering wheel and seat covers, blacked-out cabin, aluminium pedals, red ambient lighting, and black leatherette seat upholstery.
Mechanically, the Virtus GT Plus Sport is equipped with a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine mated to a six-speed manual and a seven-speed DCT gearbox. Meanwhile, the GT Line version is powered by the 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine with a six-speed manual and automatic gearbox options.
