On sale since 2010, the Volkswagen Vento has received several updates up until now, with the last major update coming in the form of the facelifted model introduced in June 2015. Now it seems the Vento is due for yet another, albeit, a small makeover for 2016.
The updated Vento was recently spotted undisguised on the outskirts of Pune. While most of it appears similar to the existing model, a closer look at the front-end reveals a completely new headlight cluster. This new design comprises of a split lamp design with daytime running lights first seen in India with the facelifted Jetta. This sharply styled LED arrangement is a common design trait among Volkswagen’s global model range.
While previous reports indicate that the new headlight design will be a part of the 2016 Vento, we have been told that Volkswagen currently has no such plans for the Indian market. Other than this, the test vehicle looks unchanged and continues to feature the revised grille, restyled bumpers and taillight inserts from the 2015 MY Vento.
