Volkswagen has launched the new Highline Plus trim of the C-Segment sedan, the Vento. The new car with cosmetic upgrades and the touch-screen multimedia system costs Rs 27,750 (plus taxes) more than the Highline trim.
The Vento Highline Plus looks sportier than rest of the variants with black roof, black ORVMs and body coloured side moulding. The car also gets features like rear window blinds and scuff plates. The most important addition however is the music system with navigation. The Vento lacked features compared to its competition and these additions will give it some leverage in the C-Segment. The Highline Plus trim will be currently available only with the manual transmission and the customers will have an option of upgrading their bookings from Highline variant to this.
On this occasion, Mr. Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, “The introduction of the Vento Highline Plus presents an exciting opportunity for our customers in this festival season. We are confident that with new high quality equipment like the Multimedia Navigation system and fine design elements like black roof foil, body side molding and cover on electrically foldable ORVMs the New Vento Highline plus will add a dash of flair to the daily drive of its owner.”
