Volkswagen revealed their new exciting products today including the Ameo, Passat GTE and the Tiguan. The car maker will showcase their Polo GTI on 4th February, 2016.
Taking centrestage at the VW pavilion was the Ameo which has been specifically designed for the Indian market. VW has lent this compact saloon with superior technology and class-leading features in a bid to raise the bar in the sub four metre segment.
Other important cars on display include the Passat GTE which is expected to come to the Indian market before the end of 2017. This vehicle is a plug-in hybrid powered by an electric motor and a TSI engine which will be capable of delivering Euro six emission norms. This was followed by the Tiguan premium SUV that is expected to come to India by the end of the fiscal year. The vehicle is VW’s first ever SUV to be based on the MQB (modular transverse matrix) platform.
Rounding up VW’s product portfolio at the show is the new Beetle, Jetta, Vento, Polo and the Cross Polo.
