The all-ne next generation Touareg has been teased and a short teaser video clip has been released too showing a camouflaged version of the new SUV travelling through Russia and Kazakhstan on its way to the Chinese capital.
Teaser images reveal new headlights and tail-lights, both making heavy use of LED technology. We can also see part of the front grille, which is a one-piece design incorporating the headlights. The tail-lights, meanwhile, have a new LED signature.
There are a few interior shots as well. The new car gets a rotary dial for the selectable off-road modes while a second rotary dial appears to sit opposite the drive mode one which could be for controlling the MMI. Powering the new Touareg should be similar engines from the Audi Q7, along with a plug-in hybrid GTE for select markets. The new Touareg will be revealed at the Beijing Motor Show on 23rd March.
