Volkswagen Polo Highline variant has reached the dealerships ahead of the car manufacturer announcing its official launch. In addition to features like reverse camera and touchscreen infotainment system from the Highline variant, the Highline Plus gets 16-inch alloy wheels instead of the 15-inch wheels on the Highline. The new variant is available in five-speed manual transmission in petrol as well as diesel engine options.
Under the hood, the petrol variant gets a 1.2 -litre three-cylinder engine that generates 74bhp of power. The diesel variant, on the other hand, is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that generates 89bhp of power. The new Polo Highline Plus sits below the Allstar and above the Highline variant. Apart from larger wheels, the vehicle does not get any other cosmetic or feature upgrades.
On the pricing aspect, the new Polo Highline Plus in petrol costs an additional Rs 22,500 over the Highline variant, while the diesel costs dearer by Rs 22,900. Below are ex-showroom Mumbai prices for the Volkswagen Polo Highline Plus –
