Volkswagen Polo and Vento facelift have been spied undisguised ahead of its official debut sometime soon. As seen in images, both the cars are likely to get minor cosmetic updates, while mechanically it is expected to continue being powered by the existing engine options.
Based on the images the Polo GT now borrows the grille and front bumper from the Polo GTI. The vehicle will now get fog lamps and trapezoidal air dam. The rear section sports a black spoiler, new tail lamp cluster and new dual-tone bumper. The Vento facelift, on the other hand, gets a chrome strip on the doors and on the boot lid. Both the cars get a black roof, blacked out B-pillars and 10-spoke alloy wheels.
The Volkswagen Polo facelift is expected to be offered in two petrol and one diesel engine option – 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre petrol engines, and the diesel gets a 1.5-litre engine. The Vento, on the other hand, gets 1.6-litre petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel unit.
