- Polo, Ameo and Vento get cosmetic sporty updates
- Deep black colour only available for Polo and Vento
- Special edition cars available across dealerships at no additional cost
Volkswagen has introduced a special Black and White edition for the Polo, Ameo and the Vento. Interestingly, the special edition models are available across dealerships for no additional cost. Changes in the special edition models are limited to cosmetic and feature upgrades. This time around, the company has also reintroduced the deep black colour for the Vento and the Polo.
The black and white edition cars get stylish body graphics, black ORVMs, black painted roof, glossy rear spoiler, sporty roof edge spoiler and a chrome badge with black and white lettering on the fender. Additionally, the vehicle also gets the R16 portago alloys and a black and white leatherette seat cover to distinguish it from the regular model.
Speaking on this occasion, Steffen Knapp, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said, “It is our constant endeavor to enhance our product offerings that are in-line with evolving consumer aspirations. The Polo and Vento have been strong contenders within their segments. Adding a dash of style, these enhanced feature offerings further make an attractive value proposition for our discerning customers. In turn giving them the power of choice within the Volkswagen product portfolio.”
The special edition cars continue to be powered by existing engine options. On 1 January 2019, Volkswagen India had also introduced the 4Ever Care program, under which, customers can avail a standard vehicle warranty of four years or 1 lakh kilometers, four years free roadside assistance and three free services in one year or up to 15,000 kilometres. The after sales services have also seen a considerable improvement given the fact that the company only offered two years or unlimited kilometers standard vehicle warranty, only two years free RSA and free service at 7,500 kms/six month and paid service at 15,000kms/one year.
