With a hike of nearly Rs 30,000 over the standard Polo hatchback, Volkswagen India has recently introduced the AllStar edition. This premium translates to some cosmetic changes and new accessories over the standard Polo. The premium hatchback will be launched in a phased manner throughout the country. Check out these photos of the car, which was first teased during the festive season.
Based on the top-end Highline trim level, the AllStar Edition will be offered in both - petrol and diesel versions. The same powertrains from the Polo have been carried over.
Exterior body paint options include flash red, carbon steel, candy white, toffee brown and reflex silver. It also benefits from the blue silk body colour, which is currently available only on the Ameo.
The most eye-catching accessory on the AllStar edition is the new pattern for the alloy wheels. The car gets new 15-inch diamond cut multi-spoke alloy wheels.
The window frames are blackened out to add to the appeal. Then the B-pillar sports an AllStar badging to exude exclusivity.
On the inside, the entire layout and design of the interior remains the same as the Polo. However, this special edition gets an adjustable driver-side armrest with storage.
The seats get new upholstery with a prominent stripe running down the centre. All of this is done with an aim to differentiate it from the standard hatchback’s cabin.
The AllStar edition also gets rear AC vents. This is to ensure that the rear occupants are as comfortable as the ones in the front.
The AllStar badging on the scuff plates further accentuates the overall theme. These are high quality, brushed aluminium scuff plates and look premium.
In addition to the afore-mentioned features, the car also gets metallic finish pedals with a non-skid surface. It should however be noted that the AllStar edition is not being offered on the GT variants.
