Volkswagen today inaugurated 'Volkswagen Thane' as its authorised dealer in Thane. The dealer will retail all Volkswagen passenger car models currently available in the country. Mr. Neeraj Garg, Member of Board, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. said, "We are proud to welcome Volkswagen Thane into the Volkswagen network. To ensure Volkswagen is in a strong position, we continue to invest our resources on areas like efficient supplier structure and local sales network in the country."
Volkswagen was a witness to an upsurge in the car sales in India and the demand for the cars seems to be on the rise. The dealership has a capacity to display six cars in its showroom. They also have a 40 bay workshop including state of art accidental repair, body paint workshop.
Volkswagen now boasts of 47 dealerships,in major cities and towns in India. Speaking about the Volkswagen dealership Mr. S.K.
