Volkswagen launches limited edition Vento Konekt in India at Rs 8.02 lakh

Volkswagen has a launched a new limited edition variant of the Vento in India. Called Vento Konekt, the limited edition car comes loaded with a digital infotainment and connectivity package and is available in the Comfortline and Highline variants. 

The features list on the Vento Konekt has been lengthened with the addition of a Blaupunkt infotainment system with GPS navigation and Bluetooth-enabled telephony. The system comes with the latest Igo-Navtech maps for navigation and includes a seven-inch TFT touch screen display, both of which are integrated into the centre console. The system is compatible with USB devices as well as with the iPhone and iPod. Changes aren’t limited to the front and the rear seat passengers get an Android-powered eight-inch Blaupunkt tablet with twin-SIM functionality, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G-compatibility. 

Besides the extra equipment, the leatherette seat covers and 'Konekt' badges on the boot and on the scuff plates set the Vento Konekt limited edition car apart from the regular variants. 

Speaking at the launch of the car, Mr. Michael Mayer, director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. The Vento Konekt fully addresses this requirement; the package offers the latest in GPS navigation, Bluetooth telephony and social network connectivity. The Android-powered tablet at the rear also means that dozens of useful apps and games are never more than a click away. We're sure that our customers will quite enjoy the Vento Konekt experience."

The sweetest part about this deal however, is that the Vento Konekt, with all the additional features, is being offered at no extra cost to the customer. The Vento Konekt will retain the prices of the existing Comfortline and Highline variants and is available at all Volkswagen dealerships across India.
