- All 121 dealerships across 104 cities will be equipped with tablet computers
- To offer a 360-degree view and vehicle presentation, competition comparison, explore financing solutions and more
In an effort to offer improved sales and after-sales experience, Volkswagen has launched the ‘Digital Workplace Experience’. Under this initiative, all 121 dealerships across 104 cities will be equipped with tablet computers along with a pre-installed Digital Workplace application. Volkswagen claims that the Digital Workplace’ solution will streamline lead capturing, 360-degree view and vehicle presentation, competition comparison, explore financing solutions, register test-drives and more.
The six-step procedure will help customers receive timely updates via SMS regarding their vehicle at the workshop, right from the time when the vehicle enters the workshop till its completion. Moreover, it also helps in creating a customized product brochure for customers with their preferred vehicle and choice of features. As part of the after-sales experience, the application will allow technicians at the workshop to showcase and explain to customers the entire repair work that is required on their vehicle.
In the end, the customer can make his choice of either picking up the vehicle or asking the dealership to drop their vehicle at their doorstep. Speaking on the occasion, Steffen Knapp, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars said, “People are at the centre of Volkswagen’s business and with the Digital Workplace initiative, we aim to enhance the sales and after-sales processes as well as digitalize the customer buying experience. As the country moves a step forward with the Digitalize India campaign, this is yet another enterprise to fully integrate our dealerships and provide a premium user experience. It is our endeavour to offer our customers, all of Volkswagen’s services at the comfort and convenience of their homes.”
