Volkswagen inaugurates a new facility in Thane

- VW aims to increase its accessibility for customers across India

- New dealership will assist customers with sales, service and spares

- Also comprises of Das WeltAuto to cater to pre-owned car buyers

Volkswagen is on a network expansion spree in India and is opening new dealerships across the country. Now, the carmaker has recently inaugurated a new dealership in Thane.

Volkswagen Thane is a split facility and located at Shop no. 3 & 4, Cosmos Jewels, Adjacent to D’Mart, Ghodbunder Road, Thane West - 400615. On the other hand, the workshop is situated at Shop no. C 17/18, Road Number 16, Nehru Nagar, Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane - 400604. The new facility spans over 33,000 sq. ft. comprising of showroom and workshop area. While the showroom is equipped with a seven cars display area (including Das WeltAuto.), the service station gets 26 service bays along with adequate spare stocks.

Volkswagen India is gearing up for its next wave in India (2.0) with the inauguration of new dealerships. This is to focus on strengthening its foundation in the country. The inauguration of Volkswagen Thane outlet takes VW's total network count in India to 117 showrooms and 115 workshops across 102 cities in India.
