Volkswagen India recently launched Black and White special editions for the Polo, Ameo and Vento. Even if the engine options and overall specifications remain the same, there are some cosmetic upgrades for these limited editions. Let's take a look at the top six of them.
1. Body colour and black roof
As the name suggests, the cars are available in black and white exterior body colour options, except for the Ameo which comes only in candy white. Meanwhile, the 'deep black' colour has now been re-introduced on the Vento and the Polo. Still, all versions get a black roof.
2. Exterior decals
All of the special editions sport a decal on the sides with an aim to enhance the cosmetic appeal of the vehicles.
3. 16-inch Portago alloys
Volkswagen has equipped these limited edition vehicles with 16-inch alloy wheels. The design of these silver coloured wheels is the same as seen on some limited edition models earlier.
4. Spoiler
Also, all Black and White Editions get a spoiler to enhance the rear section. The Polo sports a large roof-edged one, while the sedans get a sleek one on the boot's edge.
5. Special badging
There's also a chrome emblem on the sides embossed with the 'BLACK AND WHITE' text to differentiate it from the standard models.
6. New seat covers
The only highlight in the cabin is the new leatherette seat cover which gets 'Black and White' badging as well.
Interestingly, these Black and White special editions are available at the same prices as the regular model. Even if the introduction of this special edition might be a way to push sales, prospective buyers can have a unique looking vehicle. However, it should be noted that these are limited editions and their stock and availability will vary according to different regions.
