Hot on the heels of the updated Volkswagen Polo and Vento, the automaker has also silently launched a GT trim line for the Ameo compact sedan. The GT line trim package is available only on the Highline diesel automatic and has been priced at Rs 9.99 lakhs (all-India ex-showroom).
Like its sedan and hatchback sibling, the Ameo GT Line gets blacked out ORVMs, spoiler and roof. You also get GT line stickers on the sides and grey coloured alloy wheels. The GT line trim package is available in two shades of red, white and blue. The engine on offer is the 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel producing 109bhp/250Nm and mated to a seven-speed DSG.
The interiors and the feature list is the same as the stock car and this being a top-of-the-line model you get cruise control, automatic wipers, touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, front and rear arm rest and height adjustment for the driver’s seat.
