Vietnamese automobile brand Vinfast made its debut in India with the showcase of multiple products at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. The brand has now confirmed the timeline of the first two cars to debut in the Indian market.
Speaking to CarWale, Ashwin Patil, Deputy CEO, Vinfast Auto India, confirmed that the VF7 and VF6 will be launched in the country by the festive season. He further added that these models will witness minor tweaks to adapt themselves for the Indian market. The automaker is also studying the market with regard to other upcoming models.
Both the new cars will be brought to the country via the CKD route and assembled at VInfast’s facility Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. This plant will initially have a production capacity of 50,000 units annually, which can be increased to 1.5 lakh units based on the demand.
