Vinfast, a Vietnamese all-electric car manufacturer is gearing up to debut in the Indian market soon. The automaker has teased its first electric product, the VF7 which is scheduled to be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo on 17 January, 2025.
Internationally, the Vinfast VF7 is a 4.5 metre long electric SUV equipped with a 75.3kWh battery pack with a single and dual motor setup. This EV is rated to deliver a claimed driving range of up to 450km on a single charge and is offered in FWD and AWD configurations.
As for the features, the Vinfast VF7 will be bundled with loads of equipment including a large infotainment screen tilted towards the driver, panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, automatic climate control, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, and an ADAS suite.
The size and the specifications of the Vinfast VF7 put it in competition with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and the upcoming BYD Sealion 7, which is making its debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
