- Expected to lead Vinfast’s charge in India in 2025
- Powered by a 110kW battery pack
The Vinfast VF e34 has been spied testing in India once again ahead of its debut in 2025. The electric SUV is expected to lead the charge for the Vietnamese automaker when it starts its journey here and is expected to be positioned as Hyundai Creta/Kia Carens EV rival.
As evinced by earlier images, it will be a five-seat crossover with the signature Vinfast facia, sloping roofline and matte-black wheels that give the car a sporty appearance. Some other major elements include the shape of the tail lamps and the black cladding above the wheel wells.
The VF e34’s party piece will be a 110kW battery pack offering a range of 318km and an electric motor capable of propelling it to 100km from nought in under 10 seconds. The car is 4.3 meters long with a wheelbase of 2.6 meters and thanks to a flat floor will offer a large amount of room within the cabin.
The Indonesian market, which has the car currently, gets features like climate control, level-2 ADAS, Highline TPMS, connected car technology and a 360-degree camera. All of these are standard in this part of the market and make it a competent if not a particularly exciting product.
It’s expected to be priced in the region in 20-25 lakh and will take on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Carens, Maruti eVX, Toyota Urban Sport, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE.05 and the Honda Elevate EV.
