The new Verna which was launched on the 11 May, 2011 has over 5,000 bookings in its kitty (pan India). Commenting on this, H. W. Both the 1.6 litre petrol and the diesel engines are mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission while the manual transmission option is available with all the four engine options. The 1.4 litre petrol engine promises a mileage of 17.43kmpl (ARAI figures) while it is 23.5kmpl for the 1.4 litre diesel version. The new Fluidic Verna is available in 10 trims.
The Verna is being offered at an introductory price of Rs 699,000 - Rs 1,074,500 (ex-Showroom, New Delhi). The deliveries of new Fluidic Verna have already started across India.
