In Lamborghini world, Valentino Balboni is a megastar. For the man who started as a mechanic, became the official test driver on Ferruccio’s request he is said to have driven four out of every five Lambos ever produced. After his retirement in 2009, it seems that the ace driver is still hell bent on making Lamborghinis better.
Mr Balboni has launched his own brand, VB, with a vision to share his expertise and passion with Lamborghini cars as well as other supercars. VB will deal in aftermarket parts and kits to start with and may venture into performance tuning in future. Slated to unveil its first product on August 20, VB has chosen one of the maddest Lamborghinis to get going.
Valentino Balboni has designed a new exhaust system for the Lamborghini Aventador LP-750 SV. Built out of titanium, the limited edition exhaust is lighter than the standard exhaust and will open the floodgates to a new dimension of Lamborghini sound. The price tag on the exhaust has not been announced as yet but with the fact that only 30 pieces are being made, Lamborghini owners from around the globe will be making a beeline to lay their hands on the pipes.
